Feeling Better About Ourselves is a loving, supportive group for people suffering from

Sadness, Fear, Anger and Grief
Depression and Bipolar Illness
Loneliness
Shame
Alcohol or Drug Addiction
Physical Illness
Eating Disorders
Gambling
Self-Destructive Behavior
Divorce
Loss of Control Over Your Life

and the associated feelings and emotions.

Feeling Better About Ourselves
believes that all of these factors and symptoms
have the same source.

We focus on

Self-Worth
and
Self-Forgiveness

We approach coping with these issues and problems in a group setting, from a unique perspective.  Using a toolbox of learned skills, we help each other learn how to cope, how to survive,
how to forgive ourselves and others; and most importantly, how to
love ourselves.

We are not a 12-step program or affiliated with AA
or any like program; however, our program works well with these and other programs you may be involved with.

We focus on coping skills to keep life's daily challenges from overwhelming us and aggravating our disease, as well as the many other facets that become magnified or threaten to take over our life when we're trying to survive and function.

Please go to the "Tools" page of our Web site to explore our concepts a little bit more, or go to the "Meetings" page to find out where and when you can experience our group first-hand.
